"Old School Horror"
Spring Thaw
Filmlab Showcase Pictures is proud to present it's new film Spring Thaw. Spring Thaw was shot on location in Roseville, St. Clair Shores, Grosse Pointe, Clinton Township, Lexington and Detroit Michigan. Filming started in late December 2014 and continued thru July 2015. Roseville was chosen to be the main location because of the history of Packard Field and the fire of the Federals Department Store. These two historical pieces of Roseville's history is what makes up the story of Spring Thaw.
After a traveling carnival makes Roseville's Packard Field it's home in 1940, the owner of the carnival is murdered and his wife puts a curse on the town to avenge her husbands death. It takes 75 years for the curse to come true.
Spring Thaw mixes Roseville history with fictional horror to create an erie tale of terror. It's Old School Horror at it's Best from Filmlab Showcase Pictures.
